Symtech Racing is a new identity created by Dirk Van der Sluys and Wim De Boeck. Both have a lifelong experience in motor and rallysport, Dirk at Mitsubishi in WRC, Suzuki in JWRC and Honda in WTCC and IRC, and Wim with Racing for Belgium on circuit and with Future World in rallying.
Symtech Racing has taken over the activities of Syms Europe, that had numerous successes in the past like the World title in the Production Rally Championship 2004 with Nial McShea, and the second and fourth place in the American Rally Championship, and a win in the X-Games in 2007 with Tanner Foust.
Symtech Racing works with the same group of qualified people.

Symtech Racing started officially its activities in February 2009 and immediately signed two strong contracts. It runs the official Subaru Impreza in the Polish Rally Championship for Subaru Poland. And it rents out staff (like race-engineer and PR manager) to Lada Sport in the whole World Touring Car Championship 2009. Furthermore is the Lada Sport WTCC Team based in the workshop of Symtech Racing in Grobbendonk.
